I am trying to follow this useful guide ([https://florianjensen.com/2019/01/26/migrating-plex-from-mac-to-synology/](https://florianjensen.com/2019/01/26/migrating-plex-from-mac-to-synology/)) to doing this but am running into problems after creating the zip file. There was someone who tried to add some more details to account for the time that has passed since the original post, but given I am not good with terminal commands, if anyone has found a user guide with updated instructions I would greatly appreciate it. ---

It will not work for NAS running DSM 7. Follow the guide @tom80H linked. If your NAS is running DSM 6, write back, as the procedure will be different than in the FAQ. ---

Thank you both, however, this step 1. Navigate to Plex / Library / Application Support that folder doesn’t exist. When installing Plex on the Sync, it creates a shared folder called “PlexMediaServer” in which the only folder is 'AppData", and underneath that “PlexMediaServer” ---
