# Miising Episode Names

Player Version#: 4.30.2
I download all my Udemy courses - I like to have them local and play them that way. I’ve renamed all the ‘chapters’ to s01 and so on and in the folders the episodes are listed as s01e01 - Episode Name.mp4 and so on. However, when imported I just Episode 1 - no name or anything and in the metadata the filename isn’t there. Do I have to do this manually or something? Is there a plugin I can use?

For that kind of media…
1. use the `Personal Media Shows` agent
2. make sure the files have the episode titles embedded (e.g. using a metadata editor)
Plex will not use the episode name you enter as part of the file name.
Plex is reading metadata e.g. from mp4, m4v or mov files.
