# MiNX compressed MKV video files..?

I think Plex is transcoding them, because it doesn’t recognise them?

The Xplay app has an option to direct play, [XPlay (Android TV)](https://forums.plex.tv/t/xplay-android-tv/211173)

I agree that your system is pretty powerful. The only things, are optimise the files, get Emby or use Kodi.
