Missing channels on Spectrum in Eastern Nebraska

Server Version#: 1.18.8.2468
Player Version#: 4.28.3
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun HDHR3-CC (x2)
Guide/Lineup name: Spectrum Springfield Digital
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: 746 POP HDTV (East), 93 POP (East), 84 MotorTrend - I also have several other channels that do show up in the dropdown to match, but are disabled and I can’t even save the page AS-IS, without getting the message: “There is a duplicate channel mapping (Channels 433, 80 are mapped to Guide channel 433)” - Which is untrue. I checked both 433 and 80, both are mapped correctly. If I uncheck one of those, it just gives me 2 more channels that it incorrectly states are miss-mapped.

I believe I figured out the problem but it’s nothing I can solve. The tuning adapters I have are sending very short channel names, so short that they are being flagged as duplicates, for instance, channel 433 and 80 I mentioned previously are both Golf Channel & both are showing up as just “Golf Ch” - appears to me that Plex is indexing channels based on name, not channel number, For now I’ll just disable the non-HD versions and that should allow me to add them at least. I suggest however fixing this in the future to use maybe “channel#+name” for the index.

Tuning adapter model is MTR-700 - however so was my old ones and they gave much much longer channel names, not sure why its different now that I replaced them with 2 different ones of the same model

Figured it out, for whatever reason, Spectrum has a crap ton of duplicate channels. Even in the same “definition” - annoying!
