It’s more than one Year ago, and the Transponder-Info for NetCologne is still missing.
Please add “NetCologne” Cable Provider You can find all data here:

These days i noticed, one Channel is a bit mixed up.
033 usually ONE [133 ONEARHD]
133 usually ONE HD [033 ONEARD]
The DVR mixes these channels… If you want record HD the SD channel is recorded so i had to switch the assignment. - but it’s still declared not correct and also the Logo is switched.
I can’t refresh the Channel list because of missing transponder-list. Last year i could fix this problem by myself by manipulate the list manually, now i can’t find the lists anymore.

Could you get me a Plex Media Server debug [Server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) during DVR setup to see why are matching 33 One to 133 one HD and auto matching 133 One HD to 033 One

Am I right in saying that we can change the 5209.ini transponders file to cover the frequencies in latest pdf here [Digitale\_Kanalbelegung.pdf (netcologne.de)](https://www.netcologne.de/sites/default/files/downloads/privatkunden/fernsehen/programmbelegungen/Digitale_Kanalbelegung.pdf)
The 5209.ini file is titled `DVB-C Germany (Cable Cologne)`
I notice in your provided 5211.ini example - you have everything as QAM256
The 5209.ini file has some frequencies set as QAM64
Also comparing your 5211.ini file provided last year and the frequencies list on the linked pdf - there are the following that I presume we also need to add

Hey, thanks for your quick reply!
because of auto-matching i can’t tell, i had to manually match many channels - some are also missing, but most are working fine.
I don’t know where “plex” the content of the “Cable Cologne”-List initally get from, but it’s not suiteable for “NetCologne”
The original ini-files gets owerwritten on every Update, so i had to use just a number not in use…
So because of the ini-file i just copied and interpolate the channels based on the original channel list from an channel scan of my FritzBox 6490.

The Frequenz gap is always 8000kHz/8MHz, always Vertical, always 6900 and always QAM256…
…and it’s working fine.
Compared to other “Fast Scan”-Files they show only the Base-Frequency…so i didn’t really test this…
The last Year i did very many recordings - only some of them failed at the beginning because of transponder-errors.

I just rechecked my old ini…
basically sure, you can add those channels with always 8000kHz difference - but the Channels found there are mostly encrypted (pay TV) and/or not usable - but for complete-list OK, add it.
Regular free-TV channels start with 322000kHz.
113000 is the lowest frequency of the first pay-TV channels
514000 is actually not in use, but it’s the only missing frequency in the 8000k gaps - so i added it and would keep it in the list.
By recheckig the original Fritz!Box.m3u, maybe the V-Parameter is unnecessary vor DVB-C so maybe we can drop the V, but i did not determine errors with it.

OK, i just rechecked transponder “cable Cologne” on a TEST-Server. (Windows 10)
The Scan just find crap:
111 Channels but many non usable pay-tv HD channels - most free-tv channels are SD.
But the second Problem, i can’t finish the Setup:

I have suggested to the development team we release a 5211.ini for NetCologne and have all frequencies (8000 intervals) between 322000 and 602000 plus 113000 to 137000
When using the fast scan file you provided 8027.ini do you get a dialogue box for network selection ? There were changes in DVR Setup in Plex Web and that aspect has not been fully checked out

I have tested now these FastScan parameters:
`1=113000,V,6900,,QAM256`
`1=322000,V,6900,,QAM256`
`1=602000,V,6900,,QAM256` KMS Munich FastScan (8009.ini)
Other FastScan did not work:
- Telecolumbus 8008.ini (146000)
- Unitymedia 8010.ini (146000)
And Yes, in all working cases the Selection was ID: 777
**FastScan found 441 channels** , thats much better.
My DVR on Synology NAS with my own 5211.ini has only 422 Channels. (117 active)

Ok , different PC/Browser works… (Or maybe because server was not connected, yet)
As default, the Region “NetAachen (312 channels)” was selected with 88 assigned Channels.
By switching to “NetCologne” only 87 Channels are automatically assigned. - so i have 30+ to fix manually.
The Channellist of NetAachen should be similar to NetCologne.

Finally the automatic assignment is:
033 is SD Channel if i press play it is also SD, but EPG is connected to HD.
133 is HD Channel if i press play it is also HD, but EPG is connected to SD.
So if you want to record this channel the HD/SD is switched…

The channels are correctly marked as SD and HD in the lineup with 133 having the HD indicator but two things are wrong
- the logos are the wrong way round in the **NetCologne (311 channels)** lineup
- the schedule for 133 does not have any HD airings - all having 480 resolution.
I will refer this to Gracenote on Friday (i am only part time)

I just noticed, the Radio-Channels are missing in the 311 NetCologne Channels.
Most others are Pay-TV and not usable (for my setup)
1-95 SD-TV (Free-TV)
98-370 HD-TV (mostly, and some Pay-TV)
400-600 International TV
800-999 SKY Pay-TV
1001-1080 Audio-Radio-Channels
Actually i have about 116 active (free-tv) channels - before the EPG change additionally assigned radio channels.
see for example TV-SD Channel 69, 70, 72
but Radio must be 1069, 1070, 1072

This screenshot does show that the EPG channel 133 has HD indicator and the callsign does have HD as part of its name
This screenshot shows that Gracenote have the wrong logo for the 2 channels - they are swapped round

I have referred to Gracenote the following issues:
- Logos swapped round for 33 and 133
- EPG schedule for 133 One HD does not show any HD resolution for airings
- Missing digital radio channels
It is very possible that Gracenote do not offer same level of support for radio as our previous provider TiVo

1. Yes
2. The EPG Shedule only refers to an airing, not the Channel. The option for the rcording is set to “prefer HD” or “only HD”
3. I don’t care the missing of EPG for Radio. But, the Channel-Number is wrong and collide with TV numbers, just add 1000 for Radio Channels. (Thats what my TV does, and TiVo did it the same way, too)

Btw. some HD Channels show just the wrong SD logo but the airing is correct.

Something changed Today:
Standard is **NetAachen**
**NetAachen** and **NetCologne** have 97 channels assigned..
but many still missing:
Not assigned (because of double-numbers/Radio-Stations 10xx)
Wrong assigned: (Radio-channels) 1000-1099

I have a response from Gracenote re NetCologne lineup and Digital Radio channels indicating that radio channels are out of scope and not supported
Can you disable all radio channels on the DVR / Tuner end so that they do not interfere with channel matching for TV
