I have a file that I am trying to play through Plex mobile client. The file plays on windows, but on Mobile I get a “not enough CPU for conversion” error. I have optimized the file through Plex for mobile and have checked the optimized file properties and they seem fine for a mobile client, but I still get the error even when playing the optimized version specifically. I have checked my logs and see that Plex mobile is forcing a transcode for some reason even though direct play and direct stream are enabled. I am assuming this is some quirk of Plex Remote Play. How can I force it to stop attempting a transcode on Plex mobile when using remote play? I used to not have this issue.
