# Most Playlists Suddenly Empty

Hi,
Plex Server: Windows
Clients: iOS, Windows 7, 10, XBOX
I’ve noticed that on all devices that 20/23 of my Playlists are empty. When listed all show the duration, but the broken ones have no graphic/thumbnail, the working ones do and when you click into them it says “There are no items in this playlist”.
Of the 3 that work, they are not the newest or the oldest - can’t see any pattern here.
I’ve tried restoring all 3 of my most recent backups (using this [guide](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/?_ga=2.263783756.1329818166.1577455810-393461703.1522659944)) which was suggested on [this](https://forums.plex.tv/t/playlists-empty/428866) thread… but no luck.
I’m generally up to date on builds and my earliest backup was 16.12.2019.
My storage drives are fine, in good health and the files are all accessible (no permission changes, etc).
Has anyone seen this problem recently and have any suggestions on a fix?
