# Move plex install to OMV

Hello,  
Before I install plex onto OMV [with this tutorial](https://www.wundertech.net/how-to-install-plex-on-openmediavault/) I’d like to know if there’s a tutorial on migrating my (Windows)server, like the one shown here for a [Windows to Windows migration.](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201370363-move-an-install-to-another-system/)  
The tutorial says it’s possible, but doesn’t link to an explanation. I don’t really care about my videos, but the metadata for my music would be sorely missed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
