I have added a few movies with time/date stamps that were in the future. I have since corrected the time/date stamp of the folder and all files however those movies remain at the top of “Recently Added Movies”
How can I fix this? Thank you
The added date for a movie doesn’t change if you just change things around. You need to remove the movie and add it back by performing what we call the Plex Dance. You can find steps at Plex incorrectly identifying TV episodes.
I have moved the location of the movies. Plex doesn’t see them anymore. I have rescanned the library and emptied the trash however “Recently Added Movies” still shows the movies from the future that I’m trying to get rid of.

I see what I did. I moved a folder that didn’t contain my “problem movies” (movies that had a future date stamp) I will retry your fist suggestion again moving the correct folder.
