Server Version#: 1.19.1.2645 Player Version#: Good evening, I installed Plex Server on a Raspberry pi4 with an external USB disk (always connected). Everything works perfectly, only the /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Metadata directory fills up continuously, making the SD card full. I would like to have metadata written to the USB disk, for example, in /media/pi/Media/Metadata. Where/How can I set this up? Thank you very much ---

While you may change /lib/systemd/system/plexmediaserver.service, it is under the control of the package manager and subject to replacement without warning at any time during an update. To provide stability, systemd allows creation of an override.conf file to customiz… Permissions under /media do not work as you’d expect will likely cause issues. I’d recommend against using the auto-mounted location (/media/pi/…) and create a /etc/fstab entry for the USB drive. Make user `plex` the owner, or at least give it full rwx access. ---
