# Moving my Data

If you have a legacy library – perhaps even with different agents used from item to item – there is really only one method to save all of that: [[HowTo] Plex database modification - Moving media the right/wrong way - #9 by jelwell](https://forums.plex.tv/t/howto-plex-database-modification-moving-media-the-right-wrong-way/126701/9)

However, you should keep in mind that the old agents won’t be around forever. I’d experiment with a new library (using the new agent) and try to find a method which works for you.
