# Moving Plex for windows to OpenMediaVault

Server Version#:1.29.2.6364

Hello,

i have plex server on windows 10 pro and wanted to see is it possible to transfer the metadata from windows to OpenMediaVault without starting over? i’ve looked over the guides online and searched around but haven’t seen anyone do this. Any advice would be greatly apprecaited!
