Come to found out that Plex uses an older version of ffmpeg that has several bugs with mpeg-ts files. so basically this wont work until Plex updates ffmpeg (if that does indeed fix it). there is no way to switch Plex to use VLC for rendering. You might be able to compile plex with a newer version of ffmpeg but good luck on doing that. -Nate ---
