Versions as offered by Plex are only used to reflect different quality files of the same movie (not different cuts/editions). As of today, your best shot is to organize those alternate versions as local extras or to keep them as completely independent library items (`Split Apart`, then rename both to recognize which is which).

There’s two related feature suggestions:

1. support for multiple cuts/editions of movies → [[Implemented] - Multiple Cuts Of Movie](https://forums.plex.tv/t/multiple-cuts-of-movie/20550)
2. more information in version selector → [More Info in "Play Version"](https://forums.plex.tv/t/more-info-in-play-version/312496)
