Multiple subtitles of the same language for the same movie

Hi guys

I want to be able to have multiple subtitles of the same language for the same movie recognized by PMS.

For example I have movie called: movie.mkv

I have subtitles for it beside it called movie.he.srt.

I want to have another subtitle for this movie of the same language, something like movie.he2.srt, movie.he3.srt … Etc.

Problem is that PMS doesn’t recognize the other two subtitles as Hebrew because of the numbering i set in the name.

The only solution i found till now is to do this : movie.he.srt, movie.heb.srt , which works as the PMS do recognize them both as Hebrew subtitles but its good for only 2 subtitles.

Please help

Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

The ideal solution would be to remux your subtitle files into the movie file itself. Failing that, the next best solution would be to name your files like:

movie title (year).heb.srt
movie title (year).2.heb.srt
movie title (year).3.heb.srt

I try your solution but I can't make it work, when I have two subtitles in the same language, one for deaf and one with only dialogues but I've tried everything:
My video:
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.mkv
Subtitles:
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.1.en.srt
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.2.en.srt
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.en.2.srt
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.en.srt
The.Blacklist.S02E21.720p.fr.srt

In Plex I only see "Français" and "English"

Do you have any solution beside the remux ?

Calling them ".en.srt" and ".en2.srt" works for me.

Yes. This works for me. Not tried using SDH subtitles but would:

movie name (movie date).en.SDH.srt work?

However you name SRTs, they are all called “English (SRT External)”… theres no way to differentiate the files in the PMS interface…
seriously is there no solution for this??
