# Music playback last 3 seconds

Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319  
Player Version#: several, including 7.26 on iOS devices

Novice here, and new to Plex, so pardon what may be a boneheaded question.

I am running the Plex media server app on a 2012 Mac Mini. I use the player app on an Apple TV, and several iOS devices.

I use it mostly to play music. Frequently, when I navigate to an album and start listening, a number of the tracks will play _only_ the last few seconds, and then skip to the next. Less frequently, it will start mid-track, or cut off mid-track. It feels like Plex might be remembering where I left off listening to the track last time (at the end) and trying to start the track where I left off. But I can’t find a “don’t remember where I left off” setting in the player or the server apps.

The digital audio files double as my iTunes library, and I don’t have this problem in iTunes (I have other problems with iTunes).

Any ideas?

On your server, open Plex Web and edit the Music library. Go to the Advanced tab. You’ll find the “Store track progress” option there:
