Server Version#: 1.25.8.5663
Player Version#:8.31.2.31546

After being stable for years my server has been crashing every day or so. Today I was able to cause a crash be trying to “resume” a 4K movie. I am attaching the debug logs. Can anyone offer some advice? Thank you.

You’ve a corrupt database. From `Plex Media Server.log`:
`Apr 03, 2022 18:24:26.256 [10820] ERROR - SQLITE3:0xc8dbbce5, 11, database corruption at line 66843 of [1b256d97b5]`

You’ve three choices:
a) Attempt to repair it
b) Restore from backup
c) Delete and start over

To repair, see [Repair a Corrupted Database](https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/).

To restore, see [Restore a Database Backed Up via ‘Scheduled Tasks’](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/).

Depending on when the corruption occurred, the backup versions may also be corrupt. You can run the tests mentioned in the repair article to check. Also, if you load a backup version on your system, check the log files for corruption. The messages will look very similar to the one above. It will be a SQLITE3 error message and mention some form of corruption, that the database disk image is malformed, etc.

After loading the backup, you will need to rescan your libraries to pick up any media added since the backup occurred.

If all else fails, you can delete your database and start over. You will have to re-create your libraries. Your media files are not touched. This is mentioned in the [Repair a Corrupt Database](https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/#:~:text=Note%3A%20You%20can,your%20content%20itself.)) article.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried repairing the database but got the same error afterwards so I just deleted it. We’ll see what happens going forward. Thanks again.
