# Naming my media

If Plex has a “mis-match”, you sometimes have to convince it to actually clear that mismatch from its database.  
The procedure is called the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064).

btw. Plex is not using the episode title from the file name. It will solely go by season and episode number and look up the title in [TheMovieDB.org](http://TheMovieDB.org)  
So your files better use the identical numbering and ordering as they use on [TheMovieDB.org](http://TheMovieDB.org) (or optionally the one on [TheTVDB.com](http://TheTVDB.com))
