Server Version#:1.24.2.4973-2b1b51db9
Player Version#:1.33.0.2444-a220eae4

After updating Plex Server to 1.24.2.4973 I get a Corrupt Database error:

![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/c/0/c04a09440fa1a9923caf1e3dc88d0b0c3b599c72.png)

When doing a integrity check I see that the database is in fact corrupt:

 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/9/a/9aa630f2c8b4daefb2588e0403af66c448c2b5c0.png)

When I do a repair everything seems to work fine but afterwards I still get the Database error.

If I reinstall version 1.23.3.4707 and restore my database everything works fine. I just cant update?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try performing the **Manually Repair the Database** steps from the [Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support](https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/) document.

That will always produce a non-malformed database disk image. If it works, great!

But because there’s a file problem, it can’t guarantee that all Plex data is correctly extracted & restored. In that case, the options are to -

- [Restore a Database Backed Up via 'Scheduled Tasks' | Plex Support](https://support.plex.tv/articles/202485658-restore-a-database-backed-up-via-scheduled-tasks/)
- Delete the .db and start fresh

Tried a manual repair - No Luck

The only backed up version I have is also corrupt.

So I guess my only choice is to start fresh or not update the server.

Thanks

Even if you don’t update your server – your database will become more and more corrupted in daily use.

Try the manual repair on this one, too.
