Tried to install the new Media Server (32 bit) update on Windows 11. Failed. but it messed up current install. Uninstall would not work. Followed instructions on [https://support.plex.tv/articles/201941078-uninstall-plex-media-server/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201941078-uninstall-plex-media-server/)
Deleted all files for both Media Server and Plex app. and Registry Key.
Removed Service from Registry as well. Rebooted multiple times (just to be sure).

Turned off anti-virus.

Now when I try to install, it is giving a container error. I have over 197 Gigs free. (not a size issue).
Any ideas?

The 32 bit release doesn’t work on Windows 11. Use the 64bit.

I was using 32 bit on Windows 11, in fact if I try to install 64 bit, it says I have 32 bit already installed. Tries to uninstall it and fails, even though everything is already gone (as origionally noted).

I assume that you have used some kind of “Uninstaller” or “Registry cleaner” app, right?
