New Live DVR recordings not displayed in Recorded TV shows

I think my problem is a simple one despite reading through tons of other posts.
My PMS is version 1.18.5.2309 , and my client is Apple TV. Even after a TV show has been completely recorded, it does not show up in my Recorded TV list unless I select TV Shows Ascending and then select TV sows Descending. Actually any sort of display criteria change will work.This must trigger something to get the latest recordings to show up in the recorded tv list but why is this necessary? Some trigger not being actuated?

The reason this (minor) problem doesn’t match others is that

1. the show is recorded
2. playback fine after getting it to display

I don’t understand why I must force some kind of “refresh” by selecting a different sort criteria.

The TV Shows Library view not updating automatically is a known issue on the Apple TV.

Recorded shows do not refresh correctly on Apple TV 4K

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238 Player Version#: Latest release for tvOS I store my recorded broadcasts in a directory on my iMac called “TV Shows.” The only way to update the contents of that directory from Apple TV 4K is to scroll to the very top and cycle the dropdown for Unplayed. If I then tap Menu on my remote and return to the category, all shows display. The update of these contents should happen automatically and not require me to do it manually. Thanks!
