First, I would like to say that I thoroughly LOVE the new streaming Live TV service that Plex has added.
Second, I’ve noticed one small issue. When playing a stream, and pressing up to access the guide, the cursor moves one up off the show you’re watching. I do not believe this happens when watching actual Live TV in Plex.
(EDIT) It looks like any “reaccessing” of the guide moves the cursor up one.

How did you get this to show up? I have updated to latest version, but I still only have Plex Movies & TV. No live tv

I’ve got it on Roku, Android, and Plex Web. You should see an announcement for it when you start a device that is capable. They may be rolling it out in stages.

Hasn’t shown up for iOS or AppleTV yet. I see it for Plex web and Plex MAC app. So, must be a rollout thing.
I did also enabled Live TV for managed users as well.

You might be able to trigger it by switching back and forth between user accounts (if you have a Plex Home and more than one user in it).

Ever since the Plex app on MacOS updated this morning, I have lost access to my HDHomeRun Prime LiveTV/DVR through the Plex app (on MacOS). I get the: “Playback Error. There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems.”
The HDHomeRun Prime has been configured and working correctly for a long time, and I can still watch LiveTV from the Plex Media Player app on the same machine.

I can’t get the new Live TV Stream function to work it keeps saying there was an error loading the channels. Any work around, my Plex is updated to the latest version.

Yes you are correct, everything else works fine, my Live TV And DVR, My library of movies and shows, even Plex movies streaming is working. Just not the new Live TV

Check again, remember, you must pin it. It works in my Apple TV already.
