# New Plex FireTv App Slow

Can you double-check what version of the Plex app you have installed only our FireTV?  
If it’s indeed [version 7.1.2](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-for-android/29115/274), that must be an ancient setup, dating back to the summer of 2018?!

Or is this an Amazon Fire TV 4K Select with their new “Vega OS”? This should run a Plex version like 2026.7.0
