# New Plex NFO agent not showing up

Server Version#: 1.43.2.10687  
Player Version#: various

The support article [https://support.plex.tv/articles/using-nfo-metadata-files-with-plex/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/using-nfo-metadata-files-with-plex/) claims that the built in NFO metadata agent is available coming with 1.43.1. However, both an instance upgraded to and a freshly installed 1.43.2 does not show the NFO agent in the Metadata Agent, Agent (Legacy), and Manage: Libraries page.

Reporting as a bug. Manually specifying installation of 1.43.1 solves the problem for now.

Install: official deb package, LXC with debian 13 standard

As per the linked guide:  
on creating a new library (or editing an existing one → `⋮` \> `Manage Library` \> `Edit...`), switch to the `Advanced` tab to select the `Agent`.

As per the name, the `Agent (Legacy)` settings are only there to configure legacy agents (the ones which will be discontinued at some point in the future).

Yes. On both installations, there’s no “Plex NFO Movie” showing in this selection box.

I have manually configured to install 1.43.1 and it solved the problem.
