New Server update not supported for 360?

I confess that I did not attempt to play a video on my xbox. I assumed that if I could navigate the libraries, all was good.

DLNA streaming works fine to the X360, however.

The new server update, 9.12.4, resolved the issue for me. Make sure to download from the Plex Pass Downloads. ( https://plex.tv/downloads?channel=plexpass)

Hm. I uninstalled and redownloaded to 9.12.4 and still doesn't work for me :( Anyone else with issues still? It just seems to not connect to Plex's server at all via the xBox

Strangely enough, I am a first time user of Plex through 360 but I’ve been using for awhile on Roku. I purchased the Plex Pass to try out 360 and it will not find the server. I’ve tried going back to previous revisions, signing out/signing in, and nothing works. No matter what I get server is not available, but I can view everything just fine on the Roku. Is the 360 app just broken for new users?

I do have the same problem as Plex cannot connect to server. Was working perfectly before.

Can anyone else confirm whether or not 9.12.4 solved the issue?

My Xbox (the main reason I use Plex) is working fine since I downgraded to 9.12.1, and I haven’t seen anything in the release notes.

Hi,

FYI, I had the same issue - as soon as I changed Secure Connections from “Required” to “Preferred”, and restarted the server … it works, that was it!

Why does the Xbox not support secure connections? I’d like to set my server for “Required”.
