# New SKIP INTRO button

One of the recent updates seems to have made it impossible to dismiss the SKIP INTRO button. A few weeks ago, you could swipe the button away. Now it stays on-screen through the entire intro that I’ve chosen NOT to skip. Not a big problem, but kind of annoying. Is there a way to dismiss the SKIP INTRO button that I’m not aware of?

You gotta say what platform/ client you’re on because SKIP INTRO is introduced differently on a few platforms. It actually sounda like the Plex devs found their way to unify what you have now as what the other clients already had. Swiping was not an option for any of my clients. Clicking on the button was.

Yeah, sorry. I’m using Plex on my Apple TV, and up until recently I could swipe the SKIP INTRO button and it would disappear. Now swiping doesn’t do anything, so the button just stays there throughout the intro. Again – not a huge problem, just a minor annoyance.

Can’t say that its permanent. Hopefully a ninja or a dev can give insight and let you know what prompted that decision.

There was a bug which I believed got quashed in the recent version. Maybe manually force the update.
