# New transcoder issue with mp4 and srt + vobsub issue

Hi,

&nbsp;

I noticed that with my mp4 movies, with additionnal srt file, the subtitles are not shown when using the "auto" parameter in the plexconnect settings.

Using "force transcode" solves the issue

&nbsp;

I thought that the "auto" setting would allow the use of external srt files without the need to change "direct play" to "force transcode" each time ?

&nbsp;

By the way, I have an additional issue :

Whith mkvs embedding vobsub subtitles, everything works fine when the original movie is from a DVD.

When it is from a BR it is not working.

(both extracted with DVD Fab)

Any idea ?

Using PlexConnect v0.3.1+ with PMS 0.9.8.17.282-c844f09 on Mac OS X 10.8.5 and aTV 3
