# New transcoding GPU (intel arc)

I presently have a Nvidia 1070 GTX in my truenas/plex box but I want to pull that card out and use it in my living room gaming PC. I’m looking at the intel arc GPU series since they’re cheap and I’ve heard they are amazing at transcoding. What is the best price per performance for a machine that might at most be doing 3 1080p streams at most.
