# No Announcement Release Notes for Plex for Linux version 1.71.1

Continuing the discussion from [Plex for Mac, Windows, and Linux](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-for-mac-windows-and-linux/446435/91):

At the time of creating this post the current plex for linux version is 1.71.1. This was updated some 11 days ago according to `snap info plex-desktop` and yet no release notes have been published.

It’s a secret 🤫

We had issues with pushing a release that didn’t affect the snap/flatpak so while those were released, we didn’t announce the release so as to not make Windows/Mac users wonder where it is. That was resolved today and you can find the notes here:
