# No delete option for downloaded content

Server Version#: 1.40  
Player Version#:

I dont see the delete option for media that I download to my phone for offline playback.  
I do however have the delete option for media that is there for regular streaming…  
This is new because in the past I’ve always been able to delete the downloaded stuff from the phone.  
Am I missing something or there’s been some change?

1. Open `Downloads`
2. Make sure you’re on the `Items` tab
3. Swipe the download item you want to delete to the left and click `Delete` OR click the context menu button next to the download item and click `Delete Download` in the context menu

Hi,  
So there is no swipe options on the items, at least not in the android app.  
Secondly there is no delete option even listed on the menu for the selected item.

2nd step that @tom80H mentioned. It has always behaved this way

I’m guessing you want to delete only individual episode however If you downloaded an entire season as a group, you can only delete the entire season as a group, not individual episodes.

When downloads initiated it creates a download item which is like a subscription of download instructions, which can be set to auto delete when it gets new episodes by telling only keep the last X number, or x number of unwatched, etc. When the job is deleted it deletes all things that the download subscription with it.

This is me deleted the download job for season 1 which will delete all the episodes. If you wan to delete individual episodes you need to download each episode separately
