# No download function visible for Plex Plus users in MacOS Plex Media Server App

Hello,

i did install and reinstall the Plex software sveral times, also logged in and out but i still do not find the described ‘Download’ option anywhere (see screenshots). Is it a bug or did i forget to set a setting? Thanks in advance.

Whilst using the Plex app for MacOS( Not Plex Media Server), navigate to your content and click on a titles poster Vertical Ellipsis( **Bottom Right** ) till you find Download.

Download the app for MacOS

The server is where you organise your content, it is best not to play within the app. The server app does not download.

You can download from your server app. The idea is to have content remotely to enjoy with your server with storage providing access to download.

The Idea is for Laptop or iPad, download some content to those devices, so there is a solid play without interruptions. If you travel with a Server, you will need content on the same device, or you may download from a friend that has given permission, I believe.
