Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
So last night I upgraded my Ubuntu Plex server to the latest version. I don’t specifically remember what version I was on before, but I probably ran an upgrade around a month ago. I’ve used Plex for 4+ years with basically no issues but after last nights upgrade I noticed today that I can no longer scan library.
At first the Scan Library context button wouldn’t do anything, so I went ahead and restarted the Plex service. After restarting the service, I can now click “Scan Library” but it just spins at “Scanning Library Files: Music”
The strange thing is, it’s not actually doing any scanning. If I refresh the page, the spinning activity circle stops.
I thought maybe this was because the library is inaccessible, but existing files in my library play fine. Is anyone else having this issue?
