i have bought a plex pass to stream movies on my ps4.
my sever is installed in a Netgear Ready Nas its working fine. Streams through my iPhone & iPad without a problem.
but in Ps4 Plex app its Saying "No Media Servers Found. Upgrade These Servers To 0.9.10.1 or Higher.
i Dont Understand as all my firmware is up to date :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:
Does your nas have the version it says it needs available or installed ?
I have the same issue, I open up my Plex server from my NAS, and on the webpage has my server as being up to date yet my ps4 says I still need to upgrade the server
so its getting really annoying, plex on my ps4 works fine for a few days and then every now and then it just stops, saying no media servers found...why does it change ? everything on my laptop is fine, i dont understand why it goes wrong if i dont mess with anything
A fix for this would be very helpful, A great system ruined by such a simple flaw! Why would it say the server is not up to date when it is clearly up to date?
im taking a wild guess but i wonder if maybe its because you guys dont have static ips setup on the computer plex is running on.
Plex is on my readynas 104, It has been manually updated to 9.10 which is what the PS4 needs it to be, yet it still says it isnt updated. The issue isnt that it can not see the media server but rather it does and says its not up to date
I have this problem to. No servers please install. Works on every device but ps4. Glad I only bought a month
If someone tells you, you have to use static IP's tell them to get lost, seriously. :P
I had this problem as well. The fix was to turn off a VPN service that I use. I don't have to do that with other apps, but I do with PS3 and my Vizio TV app.
