No metadata on fresh install

The mac that was running plex media server for me died, so I installed it in a jail on my freenas with pkg install plexmediaserver-plexpass. The server works great (even outside) except that no metadata at all is fetched from the internet. I tried all the different combinations of agents and scanners to no effect. This happens with movies, TV, and music. Music isn't even pulling artwork that's embedded in the files, let alone pulling from upstream.

Figured it out. If the jail is running with VIMAGE unchecked, stays with the host and the fact that plex has it hardcoded everywhere breaks scanning. Switched it to VIMAGE and disabled ipv6 (it's broken in jails on the version of freenas I'm sticking with) and it's scanning now.

Thanks for the post. I also had to disable IPV6 in order for METADATA to populate on a fresh install.

So frustrating...
