No music error - Plexamp only reads CN, and not SAN settings in certificates

Hi,

I’ve been playing around as to why I’m not able to see music. Turns out my use a custom cert, and rejecting the server because my server name doesn’t match the CN on the certificate.

XX.XX.XX.XX could not be matched to CN blah.com.

To reduce overhead, I use the same cert across all my local services, with SAN (DNS) names defined for other devices. My plex server is one of those.

Any chance SAN records in certificates will be supported in the future? Or am I going to have to generate an individual cert.

P.S Yes I’ve seen this verified elsewhere, but there was no response as to if this will be supported in future.

Hmm, as far as I know we added SAN support here.
