Greetings All, sorry if this is a repost but the other “No Libraries Available” Post were not clear to me that they were exclusively authorization issues or that authorization was not possible through PlexConnect.
I hope it is and I am merely looking over something simple.

I can delete the created users on the PMS and remove home and everything works fine, create user #1 and its broken. If I Web into PMS at port 32400 with PlexHome on, its 401 Unauthorized but if I turn Plex Home off and remove the admin PIN I get the top level XML about the media container which I guess appleTV and PlexConnect are looking for. ATV is logged in to the PLEX id and has no problem switching between Plex Home users authorized for the libraries, but no libraries show as available.

I have turned on DLNA which defaults to off in plex home but thats certainly not it.
We have a 24tb media server here and some of the content is not appropriate for some of the guest so we are looking for a way to make it dissappear.

I am using my router as DNS, it has [trailers.apple.com](http://trailers.apple.com) mapped to the PlexConnect / PMS machine.

Please show me what I am overlooking…

As far as I understand, your PMS needs to be “published” to allow [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) to deal with the access rights. Looking at your log, your PMS seems to be local only, not known at [plex.tv](http://plex.tv).

That did the trick, but its sort of weird… The various users all worked on other devices without it, the iOS app, web and PlexTV.
Anyway that fixed the issue.

Really? Home users worked without having your PMS published?

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I am sure it was working on the iPad through the app. I think they do their authentication differently but maybe I’m wrong.

Problem with the PMS was that we have a Kerio Control doing NAT. As soon as I turned on UPnP (we keep it off to conserve bandwidth) I had remote access and then PlexConnect could log into PMS with the ATV credentials. If its possible to do all the authentication locally without internet access I would prefer it as this whole cluster is a traveling show and the internet can be limited or non existent.

Thanks again for your help.

Plex Home is not available on iOS yet, that is why.

I can confirm, If I turn off Remote Access for the server (or deny it through my firewall) I break Open Plex but not the iPad app.

I see the icon in the bottom right shows friends not other ID’s that can be used.
Thanks…

FYI, Plex Home is available on iOS now. Plex for iOS can access library from nearby servers with Plex Home enabled and no remote access.
