No Record Button - No DVR Functionality

Just set up the HD homerun and Plex integration with an Apple TV as well as Plex Web client - 31 Channels, video looks good - EPG is working fine - I do not have any option to record any programs - If I click on a future program in the EPG I see the info for that program but thats it.

I do have Plex Pass - Just paid for it for the DVR functionality - It seems as if its not enabled - Tried restarting server as well as client - no luck

do you get the same thing on the web?

I dont use apple TV so I cant speak to that but on the web if you browse the epg you should be able to select record for any item.

Check and see if that works and someone with Apple TV might be able to chime in on the Apple TV client.

While I have an AppleTV I don’t use it much.

Typically I use an Amazon FireTV Stick 4K and recently acquired a TiVo 4K Stream stick which uses AndroidTV. With the FireTV and TiVo 4K Stream on the Plex guide grid simply highlight the show you wish to record and then hold down the button until a menu appears. The menu only has one option which is “Record”. So to record the selected show you would then press the button again or to abort press the back button.
