# No remote access

Player Version#:??  
\<If providing [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/#toc-1) should be enabled\> Just paid for Plex pass and still not getting remote access…why is this so hard. do i have to be a computer genius to share my media? Enable remote access goes green to red in 2 seconds…port forwarding? wth is this…can anyone help

It doesn’t have to be hard… but everyone’s setup is different and some have combinations of equipment, ISP, or weird network / system setup that makes it hard.

All that language is foreign to me…i have to fix settings on my router to get plex pass to work…i’m not a technician…i just want a friend to have access to my media…it should not be this hard…
