# No subtitle offset option on web interface with external subtitles

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349 (Fedora 38)  
Player Version#: 4.108.0 (Firefox 116.0.2 on Windows 10)

I have added external subtitles to a show but cannot find the subtitle offset option in the plex-web interface. I have tried adding the subtitles directly onto the server next to the video file and adding the subtitles via the web interface before watching but the option still isn’t there.

According to screenshots online it’s supposed to be between “Subtitle size” and “auto play”. The support article says all I need is text-based external subtitles, which this is.
