# Nvidia Shield Database and Metadata Files

The Plex Server was not running anymore even after multiple reboot.

So I decided to uninstall and reinstall it, after it was running but not connecting to it’s database!

Did I erased my DB and Metadata files by uninstalling the Plex Server app?

Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately, yes. All associated files get deleted when an app is uninstalled on Android

Unless you previously [moved the Server folder](https://support.plex.tv/articles/moving-server-data-storage-location-on-nvidia-shield/) to accessible storage, everything gets deleted.
