It seems to be tied to the BETA version of the plex app on the Shield. I dropped out of the Beta program and installed the public version, and the issue went away

Can you advise exactly how you did that? Was it from the Shield > Apps > Manage Apps section? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Affects Android mobile as well. Movie direct played on 8.12.1.22702 Audio & video transcode on 8.12.2.22740 Pixel 3a XL, Android 11 PMS 1.21.2.3943 on DS918+.

I suddenly have the same issue in my Android box. Yesterday night everything played fine, but since today morning I cannot play almost anything, As far as I know I’m not in the beta program. So why am I affected?
