If i install Nvidia shield on my computer does it increase plex media server performance ? ---

You cannot install nVidia Shield on your computer. nVidia Shield is a media player device. But it is a rather good Plex client. It will in many cases Direct Play the file, so that your server doesn’t have to transcode it. ---

Plex Media Server used to play 4K videos very well before hard drive failure. I installed new hard drive. But now I don’t know what happened. System not able to play 4K videos, even 1080p HD videos pauses while playing. Same OS. Help me to fix this. ---
