I use a Nvidia Shield for a media player in my family minivan. It would be very convenient to have the Download option enabled for the Plex player so I can download content so it could be watched offline while we’re on the road. Others have suggested this as a way to view content with poor internet connectivity as well. ---

The ability to Download is not something that is being considered for Android TV. Closing this so you get your vote back. ---
