How do I stop notices about plex+? I’ve turned off everything and and they still invade my phone. I don’t care if they get new content.
Also, is there a way to remove all the junk on the plex home screen? It used to go right to my library years ago but now I have to search for and select it every da’mn time.
I only want to see what’s in my libraries. IDC about “other” content.

You can disable what you want or unpin anything you don’t want to see from the sidebar

For the notification settings in the mobile app. Releases & Recommendations is the one for our streaming content.

Are you in a Plex Home and have you ever switched to another user on that phone that has it enabled? Those settings are per account so they might be appearing because of that.

Are you talking about Plexplus .org ? I noticed you specifically mentioned “Plex+” and their new content. I don’t think that’s an official Plex website or app…
I got a little scared as soon as I got to the website and it asked me to sign in with my Plex account. Couldn’t close the window fast enough. Maybe @BigWheel can confirm if it’s legitimate or not.

This website has most certainly nothing to do with Plex, Inc.
If your curiosity has got to you and you typed in your Plex account credentials on that website, you should reset your password immediately. https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account
(Don’t forget to activate “Sign out connected devices after password change” or it’ll be for naught. If you’re running a server of your own, you might want to remove it from your Plex account before doing the password reset.)

@TheMovieContinuum Do you pay for access to that Plex + server that is shared with you? The notification is coming from “New Content Added to Library” which if you click on you can see the options for every library you have access to from all servers.
