# One Plex Pass, multiple Apple IDs?

Hello,

I would like to buy Plex Pass, so that I can also use the fully activated iOS app on my iPhone and iPad. If I do this, do my familymembers also have the fully activated iOS apps? They are on their own apple IDs, but in the Plex app we all share the same Plex account.

If YES, does this also apply if I would just buy the iOS activation (which is only 5,50 eur)?

1. Yes. With Plex Pass, you will then also be able to give each user his own sub-account (called a ‘managed user’, so he can have his own played/unplayed information (limited to 14 persons)

2. No, the one-time purchase only unlocks the app within one app store account (Apple ID)

I think you didn’t understand my first question.

If I buy Plex Pass, then I also fully activated my iOS app. However, do my familymembers then also have a fully activated iOS app when they are on their own Apple ID? In the Plex App, they would login to my Plex account.

With Plex Pass, the Apple ID is not important anymore. The app will be unlocked by the Plex account with the Plex Pass.

Interesting, thanks. So buying just the iOS activation will only work on MY apple ID?
