I searched a few threads, but couldn’t find a direct awnser (although I am sure it is somewhere out there!)
I purchased a Plex Lifetime pass a few years ago. I am the only user and have plex running on a media server PC with all my movies, and the plex app on my android. I used to be able to easily stream movies on my phone that are on my server, when I am traveling. But now, everytime I try to stream a movie from my phone when its on celluar (or connected to wifi outside my house) I get a message pop up to purchase the Remote Watch Pass.
I have tried updating app on my phone and PC, and restarting both. The issue still persists.
With the lifetime pass, shouldn’t I be able to stream from my phone when not at home? Any recommendation on how to fix?
Is it the same account that you are posting here on? You do not appear to have a Plex Pass on this account.
IF you have a Plex Pass, yes, you should be able to watch your own (or any of your friend’s) server videos on remote with no stream pass prompt.

Any chance you purchased the $5 USD mobile unlock fee instead of a Plex Pass? As @Divideby0 mentions, you do not have “Plex Pass” by your forum username.
Check your Plex account info: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account.
Below your e-mail address it will show if you have a Plex Pass or other subscription. You can click on Subscriptions and Payments to see your history.
