A bit of a struggle here. Trying to find the ultimate setup for watching my movies and live TV.
As so far: watching live TV ( IPTV provider ) works almost perfect in Kodi (IPTV Simple addon). But the official Plex for Kodi plugin is still quite buggy, especially when you switch between Plex and Kodi IPTV plugin.
Now there is OpenPHT ( Raxplex on my Rpi3 and OpenPHT on NUC in livingroom). For me OpenPHT/RasPlex is by a lightyear more stable and useful compared to any Plex + Kodi solution i have tested so far. So i’m really happy with OpenPHT as my Plex client on my Intel NUC and RPi3. But as far as i know it misses any form of LiveTV.
As i understand, OpenPHT have its roots in Kodi. Is it anyhow possible to have a Kodi plugin ( IPTV Simple ) running in OpenPHT ?

Not that I’m aware of right now. [https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1196550/#Comment\_1196550](https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1196550/#Comment_1196550)

There maybe new possibilities in the next major OpenPHT release, but general Kodi plugin support isn’t explicitly planned.

It would come from the unofficial App Store/3rd party plugins if it exists (there are via unofficial App Store/3rd party plugins for live tv.)

I use the homerun plugin to watch live tv On OPHT throughout the house. Ultimately live Tv will be a main menu option for OTA and cable.
