I am currently setting up a PLEX installation, and love what it offers.
Recently, my daughter wanter to stream/view media on my PLEX Media Server on her Mac computer. I advised her to download and install a PLEX Player app that she would find in the Apple Store. By mistake, she downloaded and installed the PLEX Media Server app.
It worked, in a way. She could access the media on my PLEX Media Server, but now her PLEX Media Server app shows up as a media source alternative on all my various PLEX Players (Roku Streaming Sticks, iPad PLEX players).
At my request, she has uninstalled the PLEX Media Server on her Mac, but it continues to show up on all my other PLEX players as a media source, though it always reports as “Offline.”
What must we do to eliminate the remnants/traces of this no-longer-existent media server?
Please advise. Thank you.
