launch problem with samsung q9 55 inches
plex samsung v 3.84.2 plex media server v 1.14.1.5488 with PC Windows 7
at each launch of plex on TV, message “lost network connection, please check the network connection of this device” and crash. the app is not responding at all.
after each reinstallation, it works out normally until the next start of the app
the other apps are working normally, the network is present. The plex app loses the network.
what to do ?

Also having problems with my plex on samsung MU8000 who’s telling Lost network connection, please check the network connection of this device, although the connection is still up… I’m running plex server on nvidia shield.
We have a release coming that should alleviate some of these issues.

is it the update of the server on Pc just out of which you talk? actually v 3.83.1
if that’s the case, it did not solve my connection loss problem at all, so, to this day, I still have to reinstall the Samsung app every time Plex is launched
hoping one day to receive a solution to consider taking a Pass …

Hi. I’ve also updated to 3.83.1 and still have the same lost connection problem. In another forum I have learned that instead of reinstalling the application you hold down the rewind key of the TV remote control until you exit the application (2 - 3 seconds) and start plex again on the TV and it works. It’s easier than being reinstalled
We found another case where the network connection modal doesn’t go away. I’ve added a fix for it and should be in the next release.

The release is out for 3.92.3. Update to that version and see if it helps.
At last! The problem seems solved. The lost connection message appears for a moment, but in a couple of seconds it is removed and everything works OK!
