I am running the free plex account with only photos and music libraries and my server is a Seagate NAS. I have 100 mbps internet speed. I have mapped my photo and music libraries and analyzed and optimized everything and I am able to listen to the music and I am able to view my photos but when I hit play on the slideshow function within photos, plex will only show the first few photos and will then timeout when trying to load any more photos from the given folder. I have adjusted the quality and made sure all of the settings are correct but I still can not get the slideshow feature to work. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does anyone know how to correct it? I am wondering if it is just that the free version of plex is designed to function poorly so that you will be more likely to pay for an upgrade. Please help!
